drama Booking Oddments

‘Oddments’ is now taking bookings until the end of July 2011

General Programmes:

We have a number of programmes suitable for the following events

  • Church Services:-    A number of sketches covering different topics
  • Family Services:-    A colourful and lively programme for all ages.
  • Drama Workshops:-    Half day or whole day workshops with two staff.
  • Prisons Outreaches:-    In conjunction with chaplins ongoing work.
  • Schools:--    Assemblies for primary and secondary schools.
    New Production for 2011
  • Youth Events:--    Variety of programmes to suit.
  • Festivals:--    Such as ‘New Wine’, programme by arrangement.

 

30 year celebration offer = 30 bookings taken on donation basis.

As part of our 30th year celebration we’re offering 30 bookings on a donation basis, this applies to audiences and congregations where no entry fee is charged, not including our major touring show and festivals.

(Most events are heavily subsidised by ‘Friends of Oddments’, we do however ask to have a display about the group and promote our ‘Friends of Oddments’ scheme at most events. (Not prisons)

We mainly perform in the dark green area

 

Generally we perform in Southern/ Southwest England.
However, we do travel further afield for longer missions or major events.
We are planning a two-week tour of English speaking churches in Europe in 2011.

 

European Tour:

We are now taking enquiries for our European Tour in 2011. This will be to English speaking churches (either April or June 2010).

Props and Setting Up:

‘Oddments’ props have been designed for quick scene changes as well as added visual effects for our performances. We do however usually require an hour and a half- two hours to unload the trailer and set up the props and sound system. We have a large lighting rig which currently we only use for our shows- (Generally this takes 6 hours to set up).

Accommodation and catering:

If possible the team like to return home after each performance, for bookings further away we will need accommodation and catering which we ask you to arrange. For local half-day bookings/ evening events we ask that you either provide a light lunch or a main meal.
