Cost of Programme

Oddments aim to make your time with the group as affordable as possible, which is why each of the placements we offer are subsidised by over £1,110. The fees we ask you to pay will cover all your costs while on the team. However, you will need to raise regular support for your personal spending money. Please note that if your fees are paid by someone else, we may be able to gift aid the payment.

Fees

The cost for the first year internship is £2000 (Two Thousand pounds).

If you do choose to stay on for a second year, there will be no fees, and you will receive a monthly allowance. This will be an increased monthly allwance for the third year and therafter.

Notes on fees

Those joining from other Christian organisations may be eligible for further assistance with fees. However, this will depend on a number of factors, including Oddments' budget, and will be assessed on an individual basis.

We will provide you with the following:

• All relevent training
• Transportation to performances and events
• Your own mentor
• The opportunity to manage your own personal project
• Entry to Spring Harvest or New Wine (or both) as part of the Oddments team (This will only apply if the company are involved with these events)
• Any accomodation or hosting required during missions
• All food throughout the year (through a monthly budget given to the team)
• Team T-shirts and sweatshirts
• Internet connection at the Oddments office (which can be used for personal use during breaks and outside of working hours)
• Five weeks holiday and two long weekends throughout the year

You will need to provide:

• Personal spending money
• Funds to cover personal travel back home or to see friends/family
• Bedding
• Clothing suitable for rehearsals
• Rough clothing suitable for practical jobs such as painting

Offer of Place

If you are offered a place on the team we will contact you by phone and then send you a confirmation in writting. We ask you to confirm your acceptance of a place within seven days by sending us a deposit of £500. This will garantee your place on the team.

Payment

We ask you to pay your fees in four instalments which must all be fully paid before you arrive. As mentioned above, your deposit will be due immediately upon acceptance of your place. We will make arrangements for the following three payments after receipt of this.

Fund Raising

We encourage you to raise regular support from your church, friends and family as we believe that your work with Oddments is worth supporting. We ask you to seek both regular monthly support and also one off donations. We recommend aiming for a minimum of £150 per month. This money can be given to Oddments via standing order which will provide financial accountability and ensure you have a steady stream of funds. We can help you with your fund-raising through communication with your church and by sending you a power point presentation and relevent literature to aid you. 

Self- Funding

If you will be fully funding yourself, we will ask you to fill in a financial policy sheet to show how you will provide for your personal costs. However, please do not hesitate if you require any information or promotional material to help you raise support.
